FORMATTING A PC IS SIMPLE
Many PC users generally format their PCs due to the effect of high virus functioning or when they are interested to update the OS they are using to a higher version like the very recent windows 8.1, windows 8, etc.
Formatting the PC will restore it to the factory defaults.
*Before planning to format a PC, first of all, backup all the files present on the hard disk of your PC to any media devices like blank CD's and DVD's, flash disks, media cards and cloud storage, etc.
*In this step, make sure that you have all the needed system drivers and the Operating System(OS) which you are planning to install, generally people install OS of higher versions.
*Turn off the PC.
*Booting of the PC can be done by two ways, by using an installation CD or by using a USB flash pen drive. To use a pen drive, we have to first convert it to a boo-table device. This can be done by following these steps.
I . Choose a pen drive that is at least of 4 GB in data.
II . Begin with mounting the image to the drive using software's like Power ISO or similar ones.
III. Open WinToFlash and click through the wizard or else use WinToBoot, etc.
*After booting the PC, setup the OS.
*Reading the license agreement and accepting it follows by pressing F8.
*Create/Delete a partition. To partition a hard disk, we have to select a not yet partitioned space and press 'c'. Then enter the desired size for that certain partition in mega-bytes. Simply repeat these steps if we want more partitions to be done.
*Formatting the desired partition will just delete all the information, files contained in that partition.
*After this, the disk will start to format the PC. The operating system setup will appear. Setup will begin once we go through the process.
*At the end, the PC will reboot with the desired OS installed in it. Of course this installation process will take some time to happen.
*Register with the OS using the product key and enjoy using it.
