10 Free Cloud Storage Services - A Quick Look!

Dear viewers, there are lot of cloud storage services which offers free storage of data ranging from 1GB to 50 GB. Are you using them? Let's see a few of them here in this blog, I recommend you to register for those services if you find them useful and get access to free cloud storage space.

1. DROPBOX

I don't think you need any introduction to this service, as I believe most of my viewers had heard of this. Dropbox provides a free storage space of 2GB. It allows users to create a special folder on their computers, which Dropbox then synchronizes so that it appears to be the same folder (with the same contents) regardless of which device is used to view it. Files placed in this folder are also accessible via the Dropbox website and mobile apps.

I would like to put forward a misconception that Dropbox users do have. It is that users believe that an individual must have a dropbox account to upload files on to it. But it is possible to upload files without actually registering for this service. The thing is that a Dropbox user can request another person who doesn't have a valid dropbox account to share files which will be stored in your account. For example you are a group of students who went on a tour, and had clicked lot of photos during the tour, after coming back from the tour you want your friend to share all the pics that he has with him, so in that case you just need to send a file request link in the form of an email or any other medium. The other person irrespective of whether he have/doesn't have a dropbox account can simply share those files and these will be automatically get stored in your account. Use Create A File Request option on your dropbox account to do this.
